MY JOURNEY INTO FRAGRANCE

I didn’t start with a background in the perfume industry. My journey into business began much earlier, growing up around my father’s printing business and eventually building my own ventures alongside a corporate career.

After years of working, learning, and building businesses, I wanted to create something that was more personal, a brand where the product, experience, and attention to detail mattered.

That curiosity led me to fragrance.

I’ve always believed that a perfume is more than just a pleasant smell. It becomes part of how people remember you, how you feel, and sometimes even a small part of a moment in your life.

So I started exploring fragrances seriously — understanding notes, ingredients, the role of fixatives, blending, performance, and most importantly, what makes a fragrance genuinely enjoyable to wear.

This journey eventually became Ma'moor.

We’re starting with a simple idea: create fragrances that feel premium, perform well, and are accessible enough to become part of everyday life.

MY JOURNEY INTO FRAGRANCE

When I was just 8 years old, my father started a business in ittar (traditional perfume oils). He had a genuine passion for gifting people ittar and helping them discover the joy of fragrance, and even as a child, I found myself drawn to this world.

Over time, his passion quietly became my own. I grew to love experiencing and using fragrances myself.

“It was never just a business to me; it was an emotion I inherited from my father.”

Over time, I gained considerable experience in business, and as if destiny had a plan of its own, I found myself naturally drawn toward the world of perfumes and ittar.

That was the moment I decided to take my father’s passion and turn it into something professional.

With that vision, I founded my own perfume brand, “Ma'moor” — a beautiful blend of my father’s love for fragrance and my own dedication to building it into something greater.

For me, Ma'moor is more than a business, it’s a way of carrying my father’s love for fragrance forward, and sharing that same joy with everyone who wears it.
